This weekend was 826 Day, a community festival celebrating 826 Valencia's five-year anniversary! Jon Adams was on hand drawing caricatures for attendees both young and old. The adults received what would be described less as "caricatures" and more as "drawings of fat, bald, bucktoothed men." Children received more standard fare, so as to prevent the likelihood of tears. While most adults seemed to enjoy their drawings, a few appeared slightly uncomfortable, offering a lengthy, silent stare, followed by a forced "thank you," before walking away.
