Jon Adams studied at Delaware State Community Technical College where he graduated in 1984 with a degree in hotel management. But after 15 years as Front Desk Assistant at a Holiday Inn Express, it became clear he would never climb to the rank of Hotel Manager. And so, Jon decided to become a movie producer.
Positive that the best place to find movie ideas was through comics, Jon became a business development consultant for local comics publisher DMP Multimedia. Jon had been particularly interested in developing their most successful title, Superhim and the Amerikan Fun-Starters, when tragedy struck. It had been only six weeks when they suddenly and mysteriously closed their doors, leaving only a half-eaten Subway sandwhich and a pile of unopened bills behind. Jon didn't know what to do. Unable to come up with any characters of his own, he purchased the rights to Captain Force and Friends, a property he discovered at an estate auction. Obtaining it for only $6.50, he retitled it Captain Deathforce, and then later Truth Serum.
Positive this could be a ground-breaking movie venture, Jon hired somebody through Craigslist to ghost-write and ghost-draw Truth Serum. But despite such efforts, the property has proven to be unlicenseable. And so, Jon is considering becoming an investment banker or maybe an actor, since either is likely to make him tons of money.
Jon now lives and works in Mechanicsville, Connecticut with his wife, Haleen, and three children (of whom at least two are most likely his). Anybody interested in turning Truth Serum into a movie, television show, infomercial, line of toys, theme park or really anything at all is encouraged to please, please email Jon at: .
